Although a couple of weeks after the event (it has taken me this long to get my breath back!) I just wanted to give a nod to another hugely successful Mind Body & Spirit Fair at Chipping Sodbury Town Hall superbly organised once again by Janet and Joanne and their army of helpers (both on this astral plane and the next!).
Although an 8.30am start on a Saturday morning (yes, that time really does exist!) you are warmly greeted and hugged by friends who have travelled from all over the British Isles to be there and the whole day has a friendly, laughter filled feel about it with all the stall holders and vistors seem to benefit from. Its an incredibly busy day and I apologise now for those seeking readings I had to turn away as my booking sheet became very full very early in the day! I hope our paths are able to cross again some time soon.
The next date for Chipping Sodbury is 13th March. See you all there!!
Away with the Faeries.
No, wait. There must be something wrong here. Two entries in one month?? I must be getting more organised!
Well reader, those mystic wheels have been in motion again and have brought yet another green shoot my way, as well as as putting 'Weedol Max' on another thriving offshoot of mine.
Firstly the bad news (I always think its better this way round as the good news afterwards makes the world a better place again!). As CJ from The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin would say 'there has been a cock-up on the catering front'. Or in this case, the booking of the venue front. It is will regret by the organisers that 24th October at the Electric Palace, Bridport will not be going ahead. Instead, the next event will be on 6th Match 2010 in Axminster. And before anyone says it, I would just like to say that I did not put this event in my diary or on the kitchen calander, which my life revolves round, therefore I must have known on some level that I would not be in stunning Bridders next month afterall!
But remember, with each door that temporarily closes, another flings itself open in the name of opportunity. From next month I will be at the delightfully enchanting Fortune Faeries in Stroud (further details and dates in 'Diary Dates' section) one Saturday each month for private sittings. You can book yours either with me, or directly with lovely mother and daughter team Karen and Katherine at Fortune Faeries.
Karen is the creator and sculptor of the beautiful fearies (and does a lovely range of dragons too!) and Katherine is a fabulous healer, specialising in Cranial Sacral Therapy. Other Healers and readers also work with them and the treasure trove of all things faery and mystical is well worth a visit - look out for the bubble machine on Saturdays!
Come and see us in Faeryland soon!

Time Flies.
I cannot believe that the leaves are turning, the warmth and sunshine of Summer(!) is fading and turning into Autumn, socks are being worn again and mashed potato can now be eaten guilt free!
I also cannot believe that it has been so long since my last entry. What can I say? I am hopeless with keeping in touch!
The last few months has seen me very busy with Spirit, with opportunities presenting to me at home and around the country. There has even been talk about working aboard next year, which would be absolutely amazing, although feels very far off at the moment. Especially as my current passport expired this Summer.
This led me to looking back over the last 10 years. Where I was then, the person I was, what I was doing and comparing it to now. Me, at the grand old age of 31 (cough, wheeze!), who I am now, what I have acheived in the last 10 years and where my life is going. I could never have dreamed then that when I was due to renew my passport in, the very futuristic 2009, I would have put myself through university and gained a 2:1 BSc (Hons) degree, that I would own my own house (actually, Halifax has most of it. I think the heated towel rail in the bathroom is probably mine by now, so things are looking up!), that I would have the dog I have wanted for so long and (even more astonishingly) that I am working for Spirit and the passport is needing to be renewed for this work.
And, as we are talking about time flying and in case any of you are wondering, its only 110 days till Christmas!
Jingle Bells x 5 September 2009
PS: Happy birthday to my biggest supporter and critic all rolled into one (my mother) for Monday. I wont say how many candles there will be on the cake, but she ain't half looking good for it ;-)
A New Pathway.
One of the steep learning curves I had when I started working for spirit is to accept that I am not in control of everything.
Being a natural (and highly organised!) control freak, letting go of the reins has not been easy for me, but if I am to grow and improve, I have to take a leap of faith and trust that Spirit will catch me. So far its working well and I am learning to take, enjoy and learn from every opportunity presented to me.
Take the other week. My car was in need of repairs and I needed to keep costs down so my lovely Uncle put me in touch with a mechanic that does a good job, and doesn't charge the Earth. So I found myself in a strange place (Yate!) on a cold Saturday afternoon in February. However, Mr Mechanic may well be good at his job and is very reasonably priced, but it soon became apparent that he was a complete stranger to the concept of time keeping.
I was needing to get some crystals and I had found on the interweb a little shop nearby. The woman there gave me lots of helpful advice about the crystals I would need and where to place them when I am working. I then proceeded to give her an impromptu reading. Not what I usually do, I usually stay well controlled, but Spirit obviously had to take the opportunity to get some advice over to her and I was just in the right place at the right time.
Thanks to this, not only have I made a friend who kept me warm and gave me coffee and biscuits until Mr Mechanic graced me with his presence, but I also now have made lots of really useful contacts for the future.
So you see, completely by accident, beyond my control, Spirit have lead me to a new pathway for my gift to shine and grow.
And all completely unhindered by me :-)

In the Beginning.....
As the year turned and 2008 became 2009, one of the resolutions I made was to keep a blog of daily occurances on this website to share with visitors the funny and inspirational things that happen to you when you are working with spirit. I thought this would help me reflect and evolve my gift and may also prove useful for others. From January 1st 'Dear Diary' was about to go into cyberspace.
Its now March 2nd and I am just starting it.
Oh well.
There are many exciting things happening to me this year. New and exciting opportunities are coming my way and my work is taking me places I could have only dreamed about a year ago so I am intending to use this page as part blog and part news update. Also to see if anyone actually reads this website!
To my guides I am extremely greatful for bringing these things to me, to the wonderful people I am meeting on this jouney I am greatful for the instant friendships, advice and trust they have offered and to my mother I am extremely greatful for being an ever willing dog sitter, confidente, encourager and energy giver .
Hoping we all have a blessed, successful and happy 2009.
